PETE WAY has been a professional photographer and lecturer for the past 30 years. He is a graduate of Post College with a degree in business administration and has received the degree of Master of Photography from the Professional Photographers of America. Since the 1960's he has been practicing his craft. Studying with the worlds greatest photographers and developing and refining his techniques which are now considered the very height of photographic portrait standards. In The 80s Pete Way lectured on his unique style of wedding album design from coast to coast. In the 90s He lectured on web Site design for photographers. Curently he lectures on the art of digital Retuoching.His awards come from every level of the photographic industry Among them, The International Grand Award in 1985 and International Wedding Photographer of the year in 1986 both awarded by Wedding and Portrait Photographers International. At the state level Pete has been named Photographer of the Year four times by the Connecticut Professional Photographers Association and Photographer of the Year by Connecticut Special Olympics. His full list of awards are to numerous to list and include the Kodak Gallery Award, the Hallmark Award, the Gemini Award and 16 Best in Shows for Wedding Album Design. In Both 2001 & 2002 Pete Received the Fugi Masterpiece Award for Digital Imaging in New England.
